President Kaczynski, [handwritten: Dear Friend], I was deeply shocked to learn the news of the terrible accident which occurred on Saturday evening in Chorzów. In these painful circumstances, I want to extend to you, on behalf of the French people and personally, my sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy in the ordeal.
