FRENCH/GERMAN RELATIONS

Jean-David LEVITTE and Wolfgang ISCHINGER, the French and the German Ambassadors to the US, hosted a joint reception to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Franco-German Elysée Treaty. The event took place on Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at the Maison Française (at the Embassy of France in Washington, DC?).

Other jointly organized celebrations were also held throughout the US on the same day, and events planed by the French and German Consulates will bear witness to the Franco-German friendship all year long.
