President Sukarnoputri,
In the wake of the dreadful terrorist attack perpetrated in Jakarta, I want personally, and on France's behalf, to extend my heartfelt condolences to you, as well as to the families of the victims of this heinous act. In these tragic circumstances, I want to assure you of France's total solidarity with Indonesia. My country has condemned in the strongest terms this murderous attack, which once again confirms the importance of the whole international community unwaveringly mobilizing against terrorism.
